ABOUT US
Established in May of 2009, Bloomington Youth Hockey (BYH) is a non-profit, volunteer run hockey organization that strives to provide a positive hockey experience for players, coaches and parents.
Mission Statement

Vision Statement
"To be the leading youth hockey program in Central Illinois, where each player has the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential, both as an athlete and as an individual. We envision a program that strikes the perfect balance between skill development and competitiveness, guiding players from their earliest stages to more advanced levels of play. As our players progress, we foster a growth mindset that values continuous improvement, teamwork, and respect while embracing the healthy pursuit of competition and winning. Through this balanced approach, we prepare our players to excel not only on the ice but also as responsible, disciplined individuals who understand the true meaning of sportsmanship and lifelong participation in the game."
rules and regulations
BYH is governed by the rules and regulations of USA Hockey and the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI). Our teams participate in the following leagues and abide by their rules and regulations:
- Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL)
- Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL)
- Chicago United Hockey League (CUHL)
